High octane rock that'll make you crave a cigarette afterward. Your Grandma will be offended, your buddies will steal the CD out of your car, and you will be turned on.
Bad Side spewed forth from Michigan’s gritty rock underbelly in 2005. Their debut CD earned them radio play from several stations across the country. They became a featured artist on radio giant WRIF in Detroit.
While recording their follow up CD, they were contacted by legendary rock producer Beau Hill who churned out Multi-Platinum CDs with RATT, Warrant, Winger, Alice Cooper, KIX, Twisted Sister, etc. Beau mixed and mastered Bad Side’s second CD, aptly titled "II". Their busy tour schedule got even more intense, bringing them to bigger cities and sold out crowds.
Radio support continued in the midwest from stations including WRIF, WIMK, WUPK, WYSS, WKLT, WRBC and more. Beau Hill was once again on board for their 3rd CD "Bad Things Come In Threes” released August 5 2008 .
They’ve sold thousands of CD's, countless downloads, and managed to infect the internet like a rock n’ roll computer virus. Find them on YouTube, iTunes, Rhapsody, Yahoo Music, CDBaby, Facebook, Myspace, etc. and email updates/blogs received by several thousand fans.
Bad Side is currently playing shows in the US and Canada, including dates with Eddie Money, Blue Oyster Cult, Boston, Staind, Foghat, Seven Mary Three, Loverboy, and more. And yes... they actually do sound that good LIVE!

Melissa Krahnke is the real deal! Not just the fiery vocals in the band - Melissa is also a prolific songwriter that wrote or co-wrote all of the songs, played all the piano and keyboard parts and even some saxophone on the latest CD

Born in Texas and Raised in Michigan - one could say that Jason is a blend of Texas boogie & Michigan blue collar rock. After he first heard the sounds of KISS and Aerosmith - he knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life!
Jason co-wrote Bad Side's songs and has also been responsible for editing many of their videos. Jason is currently working on material for a solo CD as well as a possible new Bad Side CD
